Join us for a Fall Shopping Extravaganza - activities for the whole family!
Let the kids jump in the moonwalk, get their faces painted, meet KC Chiefs Ambassador, Anthony Davis, founder of Your Next Play between 10-11am, meet other Chiefs players throughout the day, come see a traveling military display and much more. Get a snack, a little smoothie, and enter our raffle or silent auctions.

The KC Renaissance Festival is one of my favorite annual events.  My dad used to take us each year for as long as I can remember, and I’ve started the tradition with my little guy.  There are lots of activities for the kids, and some really unique products for sale.  Check out their website for details and special events they have each week (and there’s usually a ticket discount as well).  If you do go, wear your walking shoes, and make sure to eat a turkey leg and watch the fire-eater’s show!

We were still getting everything situated here, and I was firing off a couple of test shots, when I saw the baby yawn.  I snapped it quickly, but something malfunctioned, giving a bit of a halo effect around little Corbin.  But I love how it turned out.  His yawn and little hand grabbing Dad’s thumb are just adorable.

This group of ladies had far too much fun while I was working hard!  Just kidding. We all had fun with this session.  They decided to order a proof book from the session, and here is the cover (the title was entirely their idea!):

Family gatherings are the perfect time to have a professional portrait made of the whole group.  Everyone’s already together, and portraits make great gifts for Grandparents and Great-Grandparents.

 The whole family was truly a joy to work with.

Little Miss Caliegh wanted nothing to do with me or taking pictures when we began, as evidenced by my first shot.

But by the end, she was cheese-ing for me!
